The Featherlite Chair is a lightweight dining and side chair made from 1/4” thin plywood that weighs only 6.5 pounds. The silkscreen pattern creates a surprising and countervailing effect of depth and texture. The pattern based on feathers alludes playfully to the chair’s lightness, while the solid color on the reverse side of the chair accentuates the chair’s planar construction. The Featherlite Chair can be selected in an array of different pattern and color combinations allowing each user to customize her own chairs.
